The Middlesex Jail in Cambridge

Built in 1971, sits atop the Cambridge Superior Court House. There are over 400 pre-trial detainees being housed in this facility originally designed for a capacity of 200....(more)

Billerica House of Correction

Originally constructed in 1929 to house a total of 300 inmates. In recent years the population has swelled to nearly 1200 inmates. The Middlesex Sheriff's Office is committed to providing a safe, secure and service oriented environment despite any physical plant limitations. Under Sheriff James V.
